Can I put my bokashi contents into my Subpod?
We have done testing here at Subpod Headquarters and the composting worms and system are fine with Bokashi organisms in the Subpod system.
Sprinkling 1-2 Tablespoons of bokashi “grains” nightly on the top of the waste collected in your kitchen caddy after having added the last of your food scraps for the day will keep the smells down in your kitchen over the days while you are collecting enough to make the trip to the Subpod.
This can be especially helpful in the summer months.
The added Bokashi will ferment your food and make it even more ready for consumption once added to the Subpod.
