Does Subpod work in Southwest Florida? We live on a barrier island & have warm weather and a high water table. We live in a place where there is a lot of flooding.
If you live in a place where there is a lot of flooding and a high water table, then it is best to put your Subpod in a raised garden bed that uses a wicking bed. This will keep the groundwater out, while also allowing the garden bed to drain.
If you talk to a garden specialist in your area they may also have some other recommendation that you can try for keeping floodwaters out of your garden bed.
Another thing to consider is having some sort of cover over your garden bed for when it is raining a lot, e.g. tarp, garden umbrella etc. This will stop too much water from getting in the top and flooding the worms, and also helps when the weather gets super hot.
