Can I build a garden bed on clay soil?
As long as you are using good draining soil to fill the garden bed rather than a clay soil that hasn’t been amended to drain well, it will be fine to put the bed directly on the clay soil base.
You can also use gravel at the bottom of the Subpod which will help with the drainage of the soil.
